Cindy Lyndin has taught vocal technique and workshops in Musical Theater and audition technique for performers ages 8-78, at Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges, Regional Conferences, and local theater schools throughout the Portland area for over 25 years. She has provided vocal direction for high school and community musical theater productions and is the author of a pocket book of audition tips and techniques. A classically-trained singer and working entertainer herself, she is familiar with the special needs of actors—performers who must sustain a spoken or musical phrase, create a character voice, or emit a piercing scream.

Many of Portland’s busiest actors have studied at Cindy’s private voice studio, developing and honing the vocal skills of breathing, placement, diction, focus, projection, and physical relaxation, as well as expanding vocal range, strength, and endurance.
